Hi, my name is Avynn Donaghe and I'm a machine learning engineer based in Seattle, Washington.

My background is in developing features for Chrome OS Enterprise. There I worked on productivity features and more importantly, on a speech recognition pipeline that enables teachers to provide live captioning of their voice to hard of hearing and language learning students.

Since working on that project I have been inspired by the usefulness of the speech recognition model to develop a deep understanding of the math behind these models which has reignited my passion for mathematics in general.

In this blog/portfolio I want to demonstrate my abilities with a few projects, learnings, and technologies. I will be exploring not only the lower level concepts behind machine learning and its supporting math but I'll also be exploring how we can use these techniques and models to make software more useable and interesting.
